

The new interface is less distracting to use and far easier on the eyes. There’s only one significant change, and it will greatly improve the ownership and driving experience: a new infotainment system. While the regular RAV4s gets some new equipment and a new Woodland trim for 2023, Toyota has mostly left the RAV4 Prime alone. Standard all-wheel drive with the Prime makes it an all-weather contender and a surprisingly competent dirt trail companion, and Toyota includes a load of great safety tech, making it a top family car for weekend adventures. It augments the already expansive RAV4 lineup, which also includes gas and (non-plug-in) hybrid variants, along with several trims. The 2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime is a compact crossover with a fuel-sipping plug-in hybrid powertrain and great standard features.
